Unlike standard apps with fixed prices, SafariBid allows you to propose your own fare. Enter your destination, select 'Bid', and input your offer. Nearby drivers will see your offer and can accept it, or counter-bid. You choose the driver based on their price, car type, and rating.
We accept Cash, M-Pesa (and other mobile money wallets), and Credit/Debit Cards. You can toggle your payment method in the app before requesting a ride.
Yes. You can schedule a ride up to 30 days in advance. Go to the booking screen, tap the clock icon, and select your date and time.
You need a valid National ID, Driving License, PSV Insurance, NTSA Inspection (for cars), and a Certificate of Good Conduct. Vehicles must be 2014 models or newer.
Cash trips are yours to keep instantly. Wallet/Card payments are processed daily. You can request an instant withdrawal to M-Pesa anytime once your balance exceeds KES 500.
SafariBid charges one of the lowest commissions in Africa (starting at 12%). This fee is deducted automatically from wallet trips or invoiced if you do mostly cash trips.
We do not transport illegal drugs, weapons, hazardous chemicals, live animals (without cages), or cash exceeding KES 50,000. Please check our Terms & Conditions for the full list.
Basic goods-in-transit protection is included for all 'Car' and 'Truck' deliveries up to KES 50,000. For high-value items, please declare the value in the app to add supplementary insurance.
Go to the 'Activity' tab in your app, select the specific trip, and tap 'I lost an item'. This will connect you anonymously to the driver. If you cannot reach them, contact Support immediately.
